Buoy Health Illustrations

I was hired as a contracter to make editorial illustrations for Buoy Health. Buoy Health is a free digital health tool that helps people with everything health care, including an AI diagnostics chatbot that helps you determine what kind of illness or injury you might have and where to find a specialist to do a real consultation. Another thing they provide is a library of thousands of articles about all kinds of health related subjects. And for these articles I was hired to create the illustrations below.

For all these illustrations I first made a drawing in pencil which I then scanned to paint over it in Photoshop, leaving some regions completely in pencil and others more colorful and painted. After this I used Illustrator to make the final layout, and add text, labels and other graphical elements.
